Marathon Beach, 2004


Mykonos	Labiri Beach	Kassandra

My first encounter with the Aegean Sea on this trip was at a cove close the village of Marathon. The photos speak for themselves.

To get to this isolated cove one has to park
the car on the top of the hill ...

... and then walk down to the beach through
aromatic plants and pine trees.

The water has a special effect on the smile.

The sound of the waves breaking
on the cliffs is mesmerizing.

Laying down on the rocks
can be very relaxing.

In the afternoon, on the way back,
the shadows of the trees create
the most wonderful compositions.
